Jamison Allen, DO
Dr. Jamison Allen is a board-certified Family Medicine physician with a special interest in wound care and chronic care management. He attended the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign for undergrad then attended Midwestern University-Chicago for his degree in osteopathic medicine. His completed his internship and residency at Mercy and Rush-Copley Hospitals. Dr. Allen sees a wide spectrum of patients from newborns to 100+ year olds. He has privileges at many area hospitals, including St. Joseph Hospital- Elgin, Advocate Sherman, Northwestern Delnor, Northwestern Kishwaukee and Kindred Hospital- Sycamore. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, his pet bird, playing guitar and cheering on the Chicago Blackhawks.
Hina Nawab, MD
Dr. Hina Nawab is a Board-Certified Family Medicine physician. She finished her Family Medicine residency in 2011 from St Vincent Hospital/ University of Toledo, Ohio. Her passion is continuity of care. That is the reason why, Dr. Nawab is one of a very few physicians in the area who choose to practice traditional primary care and follow her own patients in the local area hospitals, assisted living facilities, rehab and nursing facilities. She is credentialed with local Elgin-area hospitals, assisted living facilities and rehab/nursing homes. She has a special interest in preventative care, women’s health and non-surgical arthritis treatment. She is one of very few physicians in the area who does fluoroscopy guided joint injections for non-surgical arthritis treatment.
Ashima Salwan, MD
Dr. Ashima Salwan is a board-certified Internal and Obesity Medicine physician with a special interest in weight loss, diabetes management, women’s health and healthy aging. She also specializes in laser skin treatments. She attended medical school at Dayanand Medical College and Hospital and completed her internship and residency at Michael Reese Hospital and Medical Center. She has privileges at many area hospitals, including St. Joseph Hospital- Elgin, Advocate Sherman, Northwestern Delnor, Northwestern Kishwaukee and Kindred Hospital- Sycamore. She enjoys spending time with her friends and family, including her husband, Manav, and their three children.
Manav K. Salwan, MD
Dr. Manav K. Salwan is a board-certified Internal Medicine physician who practices in Sycamore and Elgin. He is a patient-focused physician who is passionate about prevention and treating the whole person. He attended medical school at M.R. Medical College Gulbarga University and completed his internship and residency at Northeast Ohio Medical University College of Medicine and Michael Reese Hospital and Medical Center. He has privileges at many area hospitals, including St. Joseph Hospital- Elgin, Advocate Sherman, Northwestern Delnor, Northwestern Kishwaukee and Kindred Hospital- Sycamore. Dr. Salwan enjoys playing basketball and spending time with his friends and family, including his wife, Ashima, and their three children.
Marvin Salzmann, MD
Dr. Marvin Salzmann is an internal medicine specialist in Elgin, IL and has been practicing for 52 years. He graduated from Loyola Univ of Chicago Stritch School Of Medicine in 1966 and completed his residency at Feinberg School of Medicine, Northwestern Memorial Hospital.
Asad Shah, MD
Dr. Asad Shah is a board-certified Internist, who provides preventative and therapeutic care for adults of all ages. Focusing on preventable diseases such as obesity, diabetes, high blood pressure, anxiety, depression, fibromyalgia and arthritis, he strives to customize treatment for each individual. He also encourages patients and their loved ones to be active partners in the healing process. Dr. Shah has vast experience in treating patients with multiple medical problems including, diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, obesity, and heart disease. He enjoys spending time with his family, going on Starbucks runs and is a big fan of the game of Cricket!

Julie Caley, FNP-C
Julie Caley, FNP-C, specializes in primary care for patients of all ages. In this role she provides comprehensive care such as annual exams, well woman exams, and vaccinations. Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner she started her nursing career in the hospital on a cardiac floor and worked in this unit as a CNA, LPN, RN and then Charge Nurse for 7 years. After that, she worked as a home health nurse for 3 years during her nurse practitioner training. Her patient care philosophy centers on promoting wellness through education about healthy lifestyle choices. She believes this knowledge empowers patients to prevent disease and live the healthiest life possible. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and pets.
Kristen Dolder, PA-C, MPAS
Kristen Dolder, PA-C, MPAS, graduated from Marquette University in 2009 with a bachelor’s degree in biological sciences. She completed her master’s degree in Physician Assistant studies at Des Moines University in 2011. She is a nationally certified Physician Assistant, and a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and Illinois Academy of Physician Assistants. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and three young children, running, and reading.
Taneya Khalid, FNP-C
Taneya Khalid, FNP-C, is a Family Nurse Practitioner, board certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Chamberlain College of Nursing and earned her Masters of Science in Nursing from Olivet Nazarene University. Taneya started her nursing career working in an acute care setting. Her previous experience includes work in critical care, medical-surgical, operating room, and home health. Taneya is qualified to diagnose and treat a wide array of conditions across the entire lifespan. In her spare time, Taneya enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, being outdoors, reading and gardening.
Megan Martin, FNP-C
Megan Martin, FNP-C, is a family nurse practitioner that specializes in internal medicine at Northern Illinois Medical Associates. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Northern Illinois University in Dekalb, IL and then earned her Master of Science in Nursing at Olivet Nazarene University in Bourbannais, Illinois. She holds a national certification and is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She is married with one child. She spends her free time with her family, running, and traveling to different sporting events.
Chris Mills, AGACNP-BC
Christopher Mills is a board certified adult gerontological acute care nurse practitioner who manages acute and chronic disease processes in the hospital setting. He started his career in the ICU working with medical surgical, cardiovascular, neurological, and level one trauma patients. At one point in his career, he was one of less than 300 nurses worldwide to be triple board certified by the American Association of Critical Care Nurses in Adult Critical Care Nursing, Cardiac Surgery, and Cardiac Medicine. He is married with three children and has 5 dogs. In his spare time he likes to, wait… he never has spare time!
Chelsea Sword, FNP-C
Chelsea Sword, FNP-C, graduated with her Masters Degree in Nursing in March 2018 and immediately following, joined NIMA as a Nurse Practitioner. She sees patients in both the office and local nursing homes. She works to diagnose and treat both chronic and acute illnesses. Previously, Chelsea worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant while attending nursing school. She then worked as a Charge Nurse in a hospital Step Down Unit while continuing her education. She enjoyed the fast paced environment and the level of care provided to the patients. In her free time, she loves spending time with her husband, son and extended family. They enjoy family games nights, bowling and golfing.
Kristen Rogers MSN, APRN, FNP-BC, CCM
Kristen Rogers is a Family Nurse Practitioner, Board Certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree at Northern Illinois University in Dekalb, IL. She earned a Master of Science in Nursing Administration degree from Chamberlain College of Nursing. She then earned a Master of Science in Nursing degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Chamberlain College of Nursing. She is currently working on her Doctorate of Nursing Practice degree. Kristen has worked in the healthcare field for over 25 years. She has knowledge and experience in a variety of healthcare settings. Kristen is a member of American Geriatrics Society, American Association of Nurse Practitioners, National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners, and Infusion Nurses Society.
